If you aren’t in Chicago, you probably don’t know about Lost Arts. It’s a special kind of co-work space started by one of the founders of Kickstarter, Charles Adler. It is turning one year old on August 31. That’s a special milestone.
You can find inspiration working with your hands. There is an intersection between craftsmanship, art, making stuff and digital coding.
Here is a longish video of the space, and Charles explaining what it’s all about. Love his passion for the project. Hopefully, there will be Lost Arts spaces around the country someday. I know that working on my cabin project this summer has given me an appreciation for craftsman. I need to make a harvest table for my place. Maybe I will undertake that project at Charles space in Chicago.
