This video should stir some emotion inside you. It’s why I am involved in preserving the memories of the Greatest Generation. Without their sacrifice in the field, and at home, we would not be free today. We owe that generation a debt we can never repay. We are a free society, and Americans.

You and I might disagree on politics, or ideas. But, we have the chance to disagree without violence or imprisonment, or torture. We don’t have to be quiet about our discussion, and keep it in hushed tones through private networks in back alleys.

In 1941, a nation came together. In 2013, I hope that nation can come together to support this effort.
