Sandy came ashore and wreaked havoc with the east coast. It even snowed in Virginia.
Stock exchanges remain closed. Some are irked. Gregg Harmon makes a great case on why the NYSE ($NYX) was a wussy. Futures are lower. New York and New Jersey declared disaster areas. Some people thought they already were before the storm. (A little levity-we know it’s not a pretty picture there) Even the bright Barry Ritholz is in the dark. We even felt Sandy a little bit in Chicago. Wind is blowing hard right now. Don’t know if it’s Sandy or the alderman. Of course, there is the election. Will Sandy alter it?
Bank of Japan plays the predictable card. This is a financial powder keg.
Massive cover up over Benghazi. Is it Mr. Gutsy Call or President Panetta?
Jon Corzine wants us to feel sorry for him. Sorry, I don’t. James Koutoulas tweets, “hope you are comfortable in a cotton orange jumpsuit.” Amen.
