Math Can Be Hard

A lot of folks are searching for compromise. They want the parties to work together. However, there are fundamental differences in visions. There isn’t a compromise in the two visions.
Democrats want higher taxes and greater government spending. They are under the false premise that you can prime the pump and spend your way to prosperity. Instead, what you get is more government employees on government pensions and huge deficits that the private sector can never hope to pay for. At the end of the day, you look like Greece. Or Spain.
Republicans want lower taxes and less government. They rely on the private sector to get things done. If we go back through history, time and time again we have economic growth and higher standards of living when classical economics are relied upon.
Is the Republican party perfect? Far from it. But they are better than the Democrats who used to be the party for the little guy. But they have changed. All they are today is the party of big government programs and bureaucracy.
Bureaucracy is the enemy of innovation-Glenn Tilton.
Big government is big bureaucracy
