Happy 19th Birthday to my daughter. I assume the square will be rocking this evening.

Yesterday there was a big to-do about Paul Ryan possibly (breathless) insider trading bank stocks. It turns out the facts are not the same as the breathless hyperbole. More damaging in my opinion is the fact he voted for TARP. I wouldn’t have done that. For any elected official, I would make it mandatory that all liquid assets allocated to securities go into a blind trust for the duration of their term. Here is some more on the good and the bad.
