Smithfield($SFD) is going to import corn from Brazil. Corn. From Brazil. ($HE_F) It’s like the Middle East importing oil.

Just a friendly reminder. 40% of our corn crop goes to ethanol production. For global warming. Global warming is a condition that doesn’t exist.

I don’t think Mr. Friedman’s notion on a government managing a desert is far fetched.
