Flip Flop Obama and Romney

We have two candidates for President and I would like you to suspend your party affiliation and think about the qualities a good President must have. Being a great President is less about party, and more about character and leadership.
What I want you to think about is which one would be a better leader? Presidents are elected to lead. They do have a political party-but the core of the Presidential job is leadership. It’s about charting a course, setting a bunch of goals and then exhorting the staff to reach those goals. It’s about working within, and outside of a lot of different constituencies to get things done.
Great leaders don’t seek out scapegoats. They accept the responsibility of leadership, and recover from failure. Great leaders relish opportunity. Great leaders relish the chance to take a situation that is down, and turn it around. If they are successful, they get the accolades. If they aren’t, they accept failure, do something else or get fired.
When I think about Presidents that were great leaders in the past some names come to mind. Of course, Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson, come directly to mind. But, FDR was a great leader, even though I didn’t like his social policies. Reagan was a fantastic leader. So was Cal Coolidge. Eisenhower was a tremendous leader. Leadership ran through his bloodstream instead of blood cells.
Irrespective of political party, which guy is the one you have the most confidence in to do that? What data do you have, or would you need to back up your opinion?
