Duh. Research speculates there might be a link between rising tuition and federal subsidies….If they ended subsidies, tuition costs would crash. Less people would go to college. I repeat, tax it=you get less of it, subsidize it=you get more of it. But neither have much influence over supply(unless you tax supply explicitly) -mostly demand.

This sums it up in a nutshell. Wisconsin wasn’t about the money. It was about the ideas.

Just finished a book, Neptune’s Inferno on the battle for Guadalcanal. One of the greatest naval battles in history. Over 5000 US Navy personnel lost their lives. Just over 1000 Marines lost their lives. On the days of November 12-14, tons of tin cans were sunk all over the Savo channel.
