Democratic Themes

The Democrats in Congress, and the President are reminding me of the Chicago Cubs. The theme of their bill is “Wait ’till next year.”

FYI, it’s been over 100 years since the Cubs have won a World Series, and 65 years since they have been in a World Series.

Meanwhile, the Republicans remind me of Charlie Brown and the football. They come oh so close to kicking it, but then Lucy always takes it away and they wind up on their back.
