The Real Debt Ceiling Fight

This is great video. Ken Langone nails it. What’s the real fight going on? Dates. Are we going to have this debate again next August? Or are we going to have it post election November 2012.

Liberal/Socialist/Democrat/Progressive/OldSchoolRepublican’s want it post election.

Fiscal Conservatives want it before the election.

One faction wants less transparency, and to silently kill you like a thief in the night, muffling your screams with a pillow.

The other faction wants it out in the open, a debate. They want to end the nanny state and deliver entitlements in a far different way.

This entire debate is about who gets home field advantage in 2012.

“The other faction wants it out in the open, a debate. They want to end the nanny state and deliver entitlements in a far different way.” – I agree with the general post, Jeff, however, your choice of the word “different” is excellent cause different does not always mean better.

    • I would go for vouchers. It’s the freshwater Chicago way.
