Ugh. Can't these guys think for themselves?

No matter where you stand on climate change, this story ought to disturb you. All the environmental wackos are meeting in private to dictate what White House public policy will be. Currently, there has been a lot of controversy as to whether or not things like global warming even exist. If global warming exists, it remains to be seen if it’s even an important issue.

Certainly global warming has been picked up by the far left wing. Why? Because they will run with virtually any issue that allows a few centralized planners to take control over big swaths of the economy. They just know better than you. Clearly, the subsidies that governments have put in place for solar and wind power are distorting the market. Solar and Wind are very inefficient forms of energy production. The jobs that are created are extremely expensive, and we would be better off just sending the employee a check for half and having them sit idle on a porch rocker.

Here is what really irks me though. Remember when Bush was castigated for meeting with energy companies in private to decide American energy policy? Isn’t this the same thing? President Obama campaigned on a far different platform than he is practicing.
Curious what you think. My guess is he is a cross between these two guys.

They all do it. Opus Dei etc. (joking but …) they all think they know better than us. From the electoral college at the birth of the nation to now …

I’m not sure the inefficiency of solar/wind power is in power generation itself. I believe (I am no scientist) it’s in the transmission from source to use. Copper has such friction that 75% of the electricity generated is lost. Superconducting wires will solve that. But that is ‘spensive.

People playing god are the ones calling the shots on global warming. Same as religion. Weather is weather and sh*t happens. I digress so I’ll hush.
